Wondering which of these products everyone prefers. I will either get one or the other to complement the shaving cream. Which one?

Both fine products. It depends what you are looking for from a moisturizing perspective. I have both and like them. As cooler, dryer weather approaches, the liquid cream will see more use.
Don't miss out on the cream. It's that good. But then I'm not much of a splash guy and it's definitely getting drier, at least for those of out here in SoCal! Wind is coming off of the desert these days.![]()

That sums it up very well... and these are inexpensive enough that the B&B mantra of "buy both" is practical advice.Originally Posted by Scotto

Proraso's a great value product. No reason not to get both. I have, use and love both. I'd probably lean more towards the splash, but that's just because I prefer splashes over balms in general, but I don't want to give up either bottle. And since the splash is being discontinued you should stock up.![]()

Have a question, PM a mod. That's why we're here!
Have both, but prefer the cream. Works well after any cream or soap, whereas the scent of the splash IMO isn't suited very well after a more sweetly scented product.
I think the crema liquida is a better overall value, as it compares favorably with the high end competition in balms. It's just about as good as the Musgo balsam, for example, at about a third less in price, and is as good, perfomance-wise, as T&H, C&E, Taylor, etc.
As for the splash, it's nice enough, but lacks the distinguishing characteristics of others- the Musgo splash is far better, as are some of the Harris offerings.
Just my dumbass opinion, of course.

It is not being discontinued. Check out THIS THREAD.Originally Posted by TimmyBoston
As far as the question goes, I use the balm and love it! It absorbs easily, relieves irritation very well, smells great AND IT'S CHEAP.![]()
