I use Clubman bump repair gel. It works very well for me.
having thick, curly hair, i've suffered terribly from ingrowns in the past, and have managed to eliminate them by following a nightly routine, described in response #2 of this thread, as well as developing my technique whilst sticking to a razor/blade combination which works for me.

I saw something in the General Forum posted in the "ask a Barber a question" about plucking them, cleaning them and then applying rubbing alcohol to the exact spot (stings like hell)
