I've been seeing those around (on a couple of FB pages) and I'm really liking the style. What can you tell me about it ?

Its a Vostok Amphibia. Ordered it from http://chistopolcity.com/ru/710/372-russian-military-vostok-komandirskie-tank-watch-211306.html for $55 plus about $15 shipping and handling. Took 17 days to get here. My second Russian (I have a Strela).

Anyway, my quick review:
Pros: heavy, comfortable case, legible, nice acrylic crystal, cool scuba dude, nice watch hands and second
Cons: cheap, light, ugly bracelet, funky way Russian watches adjust dates, weak lume
I already addressed the worst con... I replaced the bracelet with a spare waterproof leather strap I had:

While on annual leave 17th to the 24th I went with these two. My Citizen Aquasport 200 and a Vostock orange scuba dude. Both seen here in their natural environment.
However since the 26th I've worn nothing but this one. Seiko Orange monster.
Old Bulova Super Seville snapped earlier in the week. They say it's a Date-just homage.... some of us would call it a copy.
Sterile pilot watch. Unbranded case and dial housing a vintage 6497 movement.
