I'm a vintage Seiko collector. Today - and most days actually - its this 66-0010 from August 1965.

I found along the way that I don't care for divers and automatics; it's got to be handwind. Preferably without the date complication. And without lume, believe it or not. (Yes, really; as far as I'm concerned, a dress watch without lume is engineered to catch whatever scrap of light is available and so is more readable in an urban setting than a watch with lume that's been under your shirt sleeve all day.)

This is the thinnest, most elegant watch I own. It's the best timekeeper, too. It will lose around three seconds a day on my wrist, and regain them overnight, dial up.

I took the first pic to show how a watch with silver hands and markers on a silver face could be readable. And also how light plays across the dial.

The second shot show the watch face more clearly.

Incredibly elegant. Beautiful to say the least...

Austin, what model is that G Shock? Looks good, I was also going to comment on the Bernhardt Sea Shark that you had a day or so ago. That's the best pic I have seen of that watch. I was thinking of getting the Sea Shark or Corsair as a gift for my son. What do you think of their divers?
