    Nice catch there!

Nice shirt, too. Broad weave cotton oxford, if I don't miss my guess.

Very unique watch! I have yet to see one in real life, though.

*drool* my 'grail' watch. I'd want the one with the clear case back. From here to the moon, baby!

^^^ That speedy is a beauty!! An oldie but a goodie!

    What year is it?

Wearing this today, was my Father's 21st birthday present back in 1962. It's not been worn in probably 2 decades. I've had it serviced and had life breather back into it. New strap and crystal and she's all good for another few years yet! I've had it done as a present for my Father, but I could not resist wearing it for a little bit first!

Beautiful! It looks a lot different than most watches Breitling produces.

That is a beauty of a watch. And it is fantastic that you put such thought and effort into a gift for your father.

Thanks guys, it feels good to help the watch back to it's feet and feels great to get your kind feedback amongst the many fine watches paraded on this thread.

    Here is the before shot:

It had been through a lot whilst on my father's wrist and it showed! It certainly could tell a few stories after being around the world on countless adventures with my father.

I didn't want to over restore it and a little wabi gives it some character and reflects the tales it could tell!

I do think that it looks good now though.
