    Gotta love IWC's marketing

I posted a foto of my other Stowa a couple of months back but this one I've had longer. Parat was a post-war cooperation between several makers, a Deutsche Uhrenkooperation.

"Immer pünktlich, früh und spat, mit der Armbanduhr Parat."

I remember getting this for less than €10 a few years ago.

Yes I do, wore it today, never loses a minute and I've done nothing to it. I've ridden my mountainbike (accidently) while wearing it so I suppose it is fairly shockproof. Picked it up in Vienna, Austria.

They may be cheap, but my wife and I both love ours. The nice thing about the cost is you can afford to wear it often. If you break it you just buy another!

Agreed, that Elgin is beautiful. I really, really need to break down and get a couple of vintage Bulova and Hamilton watches serviced so I can start wearing them.

Today, the late 60s vintage GMT for me.
