Heh heh ... it was pretty much an offense to the eye.
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that watch on the 'bay and being afraid to take the chance on the bad photo hiding a good watch. Nicely done!

Wow, I'm really jealous of your vintage Omega collection. Understated, but stunning pieces.
My new "sporty" Invicta 9403 to replace a Timex that took a licking and stopped ticking. I added a black-and-crimson NATO band and saved the bracelet in case I want this to be a smidge more dressy in the future.
I also have a very cool vintage Vostok - a "poor man's Omega" - on the way. I'll post that when it arrives from Lithuania.

I'll an older Mako with mineral glass that hasn't attracted a lot of scratches. I think at the Mako II's price point it will still be mineral glass. Had mine on today in fact ..

You've got that great blue face. That's on my list. I just rationalized buying an original Mako. Orange Face, great price at Amazon. I will post a photo, but my tremors are a little active tonight. I like the Mako I, the screw-down pusher is kind of cool. Just enough differences to keep me interested in both.
