@Chris:

Those Citizen watches are not favourite here in Europe, especially the eco-drive ones.
The kinetic system by Seiko is proven to be better.
The problem with the kinetic is that you still have to change the condensator after approximately 5 years I guess...

Unfortunately my experience has been the exact opposite.
I own this beautiful Seiko Kinetic that died in less that two years of ownership.

Both of my Eco-Drives have been problem free so far.
I also have one of the first generation Eco-Drives that I bought in 1998 and it is still going strong.
As always YMMV.

Chris, sorry about the Seiko...beautiful watch though! I love the colours!

Vintage Omega Pocket Watch.
It still feels strange to me not wearing a watch on the wrist.
But every once and a while, a pocket watch is just the ticket.

Very nice. I like to carry a pocket watch ever now and then myself.

Here is my Elgin. It is old and beat up but it works great.

Concord Thin today. This is one of my favorite watches. I have owned this one for nearly 20 years. I have worn it with everything from a tux to blue jeans. Solid gold watch.

Andrew, I like the strap. Didn't you have a metal bracelet as well? I ask because I have been looking for a second strap myself. I just can't make up my mind. Do you have a picture you could post with the bracelet?
