    Set your camera to macro. Look for the tulip icon under settings or scenes. That should help you take macro shots.

    Leave it on automatic or you can adjust the ISO according to light.

    Also recommend natural light (outside) if you get any of that stuff.

    If not a good broad spectrum lamp (even a shop light with a 7000k cfl) will do the job well. Turn the flash on your camera off if you can get away with it - it will avoid lots of reflection off of the crystal.

    Oh yeah - a stand - even a little tripod will allow your camera to slow the eff shutter speed without creating blurry pictures - even in lower light situ.

    yea, the thing is that the particular crown protector on that watch is patented by panerai, so some watch shops or service centers will refuse to touch marina militare watches over this issue, one of the spanish watch forums i participate on actually ban the advertising or the trading in marina militare watches considering them fake panerais,

    No, the hole was there. This is a so-called 'vintage ammo' strap. They are watch straps made from old leather, traditionally 'ammo pouches'. Mine is Swiss from the 70s, but I don't know what it was originally.

    this is a presentation watch for Bill Barr for 15 years of service at Ralston Purina. Runs very well, needs a cleaning....that is to be done this forthcoming week.
