What settings do you guys use to take such great pictures? I have a Cannon Powershot SD 10 Mega Pixel Camera and I cannot take a good closeup to save my life.
Set your camera to macro. Look for the tulip icon under settings or scenes. That should help you take macro shots.

Leave it on automatic or you can adjust the ISO according to light.
