Wanna know something funny, Gillette constantly is releasing the same razors just with different color handles, thats obvious, but why do people collect them all so to speak, o and have you noticed the new fusion commercial that reminds you to change the blade, gillette though i love them is constantly scheming muahaha

I think they have reached their peak as far as number of blades on a razor. The only direction they have left to go is sideways.

have you noticed people collecting vintage razors from e-bay? yeah i don't really want a razor that might have been used to shave a hobo's coin purse.

well believe it or not i do know people who want to make the blade last as long as possible. so no matter how awful a shave it gives them or messed up and gross it looks they'll keep on using it.

I am sure that in this economic climate, folks are using cartridges until they fall apart. Gillette is probably noticing this trend.

The Koreans have already gone with 6 blades.

I prefer to think that that hobo might have been a wealthy industrialist, before the stock market crashed in 1929, so that makes it ok.

Does anyone else feel a need to wash his hands after reading that?

I have no problems with people collecting them , hell.. i may even do something like that in the future if my collection of general shaving historia gets way out of control.

I have a feeling they are just running short on ideas , I meen you have a 5 bladed vibrating razor with a trimmer blade? where else can you go?

The Gillette Foaminator 6? (has a mini goo can in the shaft that auto lathers just before the blade)

    I await the madness eagerly.

The Laser Razor will be a new age in shaving technology. Of course, there will be some problems. Someone will lop off a nose or an ear, they may set the beam too high and burn down their house, or they may use it to cut through the vault door at the first national bank (super villain style). But, those are acceptable losses in the name of progress!

When I saw that commercial for the handy "Indicator strip - once the blue line is gone, it is time to replace the blade! Yay, thanks Gillette for telling me when to replace the blade, I wouldnt have known otherwise!" I just shook my head. Gillette=desperate schemer

    You're kidding right?

    Titan 6-Blade All-in-One Razor 3-pk

$9.99. Look closely at the packaging.

Did you know when you go to a restaurant you are using forks and knives that other people have used before?

Be sure to bring your own, you have no idea where they've been. Odds are they probably haven't been sterilized either, just washed in hot water. While you're at it, better bring your own napkins and drinking glasses and plates too.

This will put Gillette out of business: I mean with a Dorco 6-blade and this Titan 6-blade & foam which backward looser will still have the guts to tell he is shaving with a stone-age 5-blade fusion ?
I bet the gillette folks are not too happy about it !
