Default Marking a thread as "unread"

I know how to mark a thread as "read". Is there a way to mark a thread as "unread"?

I don't think there is. When someone posts to a thread you've read it will get marked as having unread posts, but that's automatic.

Do you just want to mark a thread for later viewing? If so, you can go to "Thread tools" and hit "subscribe to this thread" or something like that and you'll be able to list your subscriptions in your user CP.

If your goal is to unread something you read or unsee something you saw, I assure you there is no way.

I wish it were otherwise- it would certainly help with the night terrors.

I think Jesse / soapbox is still offering low-cost eye bleach, but yeah, other than that, no way to undo what has been done.

But then you're attempting to unsay something you said, which is another matter entirely.
