    Default Latest Addition! Pictures!!

I was very, very pleased to be able to pick this up from the Post Office this morning. A Robert Williams 7/8 English Classic in Damascus and Ivory. Naturally my pictures fail to convey what a handsome razor this is as well as how great it feels in the hand. Cannot wait to shave tomorrow - it is a very odd to have temporarily sated my SRAD.

I would like to add that purchasing a custom from Robert was a pleasure from beginning to end. He is unstintingly nice, exceedingly helpful and repeatedly went out of his way to ensure that I am happy with the razor. I hope that he is as proud of his work as I am.

The razor has some very nice lines for the entire profile. The grind looks consistant and even. The well-placed mosaic pin is a very nice touch and provides just the right contrast to the damascus pattern that also looks to be evenly etched. The jimps are bold and look good with the right depth and consistancy for that shape. It looks like a winner from here...

Sometimes all the elements just come together. It's a beautiful thing. Congratulations! Now I know exactly what to keep my eye out for when I've got some str8 experience under my belt.
