Best Shaving Brush For Electric

I have a question that may make some of you hard-core DB shavers cringe. I'm looking for a shaving brush, one that will help to exfoliate the skin and work well with creams. Currently I found Anthony Logistics shaving cream and after shave to work well with my skin. I have sensitive skin and some acne and I found the Panasonic wet/dry ES8243K ARC IV Nano Shaver [cringe] to shave extremely close (far better than a Norelco). I also get very little irritation from it. I want to begin using a shaving brush for an even better shave so I am considering a Vulfix 2198 Pure Badger or a Vulfix 2234 Super Badger. From what I understand, the Super is a little softer and may work better with creams. But I'm wondering if I am losing any exfoliating benefits with a softer brush and if it lifts the beard as well. I'm also open to any other brush suggestions and/or recommendations.

Depends if your an everyday shaver
i've found for me that if haven't shaved in a few days and have a noticable growth i like to use my badger/boar mix brush to really scrub my face
and conversely i use a softer brush as the hairs a closer to the skin they won't lift as much.

just re-read that and wierdly the exact opposite could be true

Its been a long time since I used an electric. I had a panasonic wet-dry a long time ago but found using it in the wet mode gave me terrible razor burn. Using creams with it was a mess. I frankly don't see any advantages to using a brush with an electric because of the way an electric cuts. I would think you have to use a very light, thin cream or soap otherwise the soap can gum up the works.

I have not used a Vulfix pure, but I do have a 2234, and it does great for lathering cream. It is fairly soft and I would not say it exfoiates in the sense that stiff bristle would do. For the price of the 2234 I might look at the Crabtree and Evelyn best badger brush. This is considered a great starter brush, and is fairly dense.

i use a vulfix 374 super badger, it's $55 brush and it works pretty good.

Just get a cheap boar brush made by Omega.

Are you talking about just putting on lather with a brush to exfoliate and maybe the lather will make your skin softer? Then you rinse off the lather and shave?
Its been like 5 years since I tried an electric. I didn't know you could even use them wet/dry

Only some of them does. And afaik there are parts under the head that should be dry while it's working..
