    Default Whisky nosing kit

    Hello gentlemen,

I read in a magazine about this whisky nosing kit and I wanted to share this info with you. It has 24 samples of basenotes which helps you identifying and naming whisky aromas. Sounds like a perfect tool for those who enjoy nosing!

Below is an image of the sampler box. It costs 119 GDP. Because I don't want to make commercial advertisements (I don't think its allowed on this forum) I don't name where you can buy this kit. But if you're interested you can find it easily when googling for "nosing kit".

Bow for me, for I am the lathermeister!

Nice find. I've seen kits for wine, but never for whiskey. Please feel free to let us know where you found it. As long as you're not the owner or have any financial incentives to advertise for the store, it's fine to tell us.

Very cool, but $259? Ouch! (as in the expletive, I'm not calling out the B&B member ) The wine kits are a fraction of that and contain as many or more scent vials.

Actually, the "good" ones can go for many hundreds more.

I can see from the picture that you got it from http://www.scotchwhiskey.net. What's the name of the kit? (It's OK to tell)

That kit looks like much fun. It makes me want to have or attend a whiskey tasting party.
