  1. Default Is there space for blogging on B&B?

As a relative noob to this site (only been a few weeks) and a young wet shaver I was wondering if there was a space to blog about ( probably would be humorous mindless chatter) shaving, products and so on. Now I know there are individual spaces for each of these criteria, but maybe it would be good for each member to have the choice to blog about their experiences and products along the way.

Just a thought but it would be entertaining at the least with the characters running around this forum.

It's called the entire site. Just post whatever you want in the appropriate place.

No need for sarcasm, and I was not asking if we currently had an area for blogging. I just thought some of the users might enjoy blogging about one or more part of their experiences without it being disjointed and spread out over the whole site.

I have to agree with Ouch on this one. If you want to set up a blog I'm sure there are lots of options out there. This is a forum, defined as " a public meeting or assembly for open discussion". To me, blogs are people that want an audience rather than a discussion; we have the reviews section for that.

I think the current system is fairly neatly categorized and there's a search function available for the times those categories aren't enough to help you find what you're looking for. If you want disjointed, imagine microblogs all over the forum.

I guess I'll spend the rest of my days on this site getting passed around by the mods...

Cheer up. There could be worse things to suffer. Mods keep their pets clean, well fed, well shaven and they are allowed to run free in the forums for three hours a day.

Woah - don't jump on the poor guy!

As others have said, we do not have a formal blogging system, as the thought is - if everyone (or many) had all of their stuff in their own little section, it would lose some of the community/interactive aspect of the site. There are social groups, and other web 2.0 goodies, but so far - no formal blog system.

    And by the way... WELCOME!!
