    Default 1st Injector Shave........hmmm

It wasn't that bad really, but I made a common mistake of mine when using new products.

Instead of approaching the shave just as I would with a DE (slow, no pressure, caution, etc.), I went fast and somewhat haphazardly, thinking that the reputation of this razor as "idiot-proof" would see me through a quick, painless shave.

While I didn't hurt myself or anything, the shave was a little harsh afterwards, given that I went quickly, made multiple passes over spots before lathering, etc.

I think I need to work more on proper blade angle, as I may have had the razor not "flat enough" as was required, and as has been described by other members on this board. Also, I was using CVS blades, which may or may not be adequate, and therefore could have contributed to my need to pass several times over the same area.

I pretty much just hold it flat against my face with no pressure. Get yourself some of the Chinese Schick injector blades and things should improve markedly.

Keep it up! I really love my injectors. When I started with mine, I made the same mistake of not laying the head flat enough. For some reason it seemed strange to have it flat.
I finally found some Schick brand blades about a week ago and I have to say I'm happy overall. If you can find them give them a shot, like mmack66 said. I think I still prefer the Pellas. I'll shoot you a PM when I'm down to four or five in my current pack and see if you want to try some before you buy.

Get yourself some Ted Pella Injector blades and you will be set, other than that you seem to have everything else figured out.

The Injector is a pretty easy razor to use well but there is a little bit of a learning process as with any razor. Which Injector model do you have?
