Any cologne that compliments Aqua Velva?

not looking for a scent match, just something that blends OK.

i found something mentioned in an old thread, but it is discontinued.

to me, floris elite is good but hard to find and very expensive.

I find that the classic blue aqua velva fades very quickly so I don't worry about scent matching. Some of the other Velva's stick around longer and then I have to be careful. In those cases I just stick with the aftershave for scent and call it done (Lingering Velvas: Musk, Sport, Green stuff from Canada)

Elixr Black from Bath & Bodyworks.

I haven't found many things that don't go well with AV. I use AV quite a bit and do not hesitate to put on any of my colognes with it.

Maybe something sold in an Off-Track Betting Parlor? Or the scent they use to fumigate the seats on Greyhound buses?

Kidding.

The stuff is so fleeting in nature that pretty much anything you slap on a few minutes later is going to atomize (no pun intended) the AV.

But the Floris Elite IS an interesting suggestion.

Love this stuff! Smells great and has real staying power!!

I love the CO Bigelow Elixir... So does my wife.

The Shave Den store does make an AV scented EDT also, but I've not tried it.
However, it looks like their store is temporarily closed.

btw, the bigelow black is pretty good.

The Black is good but the Green is also very good. Both can be obtained at Bath & Bodyworks.
