These where token give-a-ways from Gillette. They made two diffrent ones. Gillette did many give-a-ways over the years.
I have pictures of both of mine but they are at home. If I remember, I'll post them later

Ray is one of those guys whose closet is actually a doorway to an alternate dimension so he has room for all his hair-removal paraphernalia.

LOL...Not a complete alternate dimension but close. It is a separate room off my office at home.

As promised here is a shot of both tokens, note the G.O.P. stamped on the second one. This one has the Elephant head on front and yep, the butt on the back side.
I included a Porcelain and Brass Gillette Tie Clasp that is from the 30's given to the salesmen.

The bottom picture is just a few more of the memorabilia items I have including two pocket mirrors from the 40's and an un-opened sealed 12 count blade pack from 1908, the year they downsized the count from 15. They went to 10 the following year.

BTW, I have lots more Gillette memorabilia in that little room too....

Very cool. That tie clasp is really awesome. I have an old one of a similar style that I had to modify to fit a tie properly, the way I wanted it, but it is no Gillette.

My grandfather had a room we all called 'The Museum' but not for razor stuff, just old stuff. After he past on and my dad was left to clean up and settle the estate, that room was called a few four letter words a few times.

I have a coin that has the elephant head and tail. Can anybody tell me what it's value is on the open market.

    Welcome to B&B.

I have no idea of its actual value, but I guess it would really be decided by what the market will bear. If you don't want it, why don't you sell it on the B/S/T forum or put it up on e-bay and find out what it's worth?
