Well.... I never knew Gillettes were carefully hand made.
As for the rest. Um. Well. Ivory is worth quite a bit, for something big like that. But honestly, it don't look like ivory to me. And why would Gillette put a cheap mass produced razor in an ivory case? I mean, it wasn't worth as much before the ban, but is was still a fairly fine item. It's not even a spiffy gold razor.
Ah well....

The seller has another item, " ANTIQUE RUSSIAN STERLING CIGARETTE CASE", that is not IMHO made of sterling silver. I have seen several similar plate cases and I'd say that a reasonable starting bid would be around $20, rather than $750.
