The creepy thing about B&B's version is that it shaves over its EYES and LIPS!!! Magruder's version is much less painful to watch (though it sill shaves over its lips)...

That is why I try to make use of the smilies as much as possible. Conveys intent a bit better, sometimes.

But they do avoid the tonal misunderstanding often inherent in the typed word.
But then again I've had a few glasses of port so it could well be me.
