In the short time I have been wet-shaving I have managed to contract a number of acquistion disorders: RAD, SBAD, etc... I am too new at this and have acquired too many new items to claim that I have a favorite set-up. I can say the following: I have had the greatest success with a Merkur HD razor but I really like my Gillette Fat Boy; I have had the best overall experience with Derby Extra blades; I can make a better lather with cream than soap, but I am working hard to improve my technique; I haven't found a clear favorite ASB yet but there are so many I like very much; I have a few A/S, but there's something about good ol' Pinaud Clubman that smells like a barber shop to me.

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
I enjoy photography, I collect fountain pens, and I have a few vintage wrist watches as well. My favorite sport is skiing, but I get out quite rarely these days.

What else should the members of B&B know about you?
I am a member of the faculty at the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University. I am the Director of the Cornell Boardroom Executive MBA program.
