The Cade balm is some good stuff - I was a little put off by the scent of the sample I have - it was very "sage-y" to start but it has settled down to a faint juniper scent...

Are you letting some hot water sit on top of the puck before you try and lather? I used the Cade soap for just the second time this morning and had an excellent lather... keep at it, its very nice.
