Clove & Peppermint ASB

Last night i got delivery of a package from Shaving Essentials. Wonderful service, nice note and samples but what inspire me to post this is the sample of Wesley & Scott Clove and Peppermint after shave balm.
First I need to say that I don't like cloves even in ham but my next acquisition is a bottle of this wonderful ASB.
We are having below zero temps in NE with lots of snow & ice, dry weather all around. This morning after shaving I decided to use W&S Clove and peppermint ASB. this is a thick lotion with a nice fragrance of cloves and peppermint and the best comes when it goes into your face, the warm infusion of cloves leads to a wonderful soothing and cooling of peppermint that made my face uplifted and ready for the NE winter. Who said that cooling sensations are not for the winter season?
I went into Shaving Essentials website but they don't list Clove & Peppermint as a flavor among the Wesley & Scott ASB. I suggest you ask for it because it is an effective After Shave original. If you have used their ASB go and post a review, because based on this sample they should not be ignored.

I too got a sample of the clove & peppermint ASB. To me it smells more of cloves that peppermint. It sure does wake you up. I haven't made up my mind yet if it will be added to the list of future purchases but it is still in consideration.

Hi Paco,
Thanks for bringing this up. The Clove and Peppermint was a holiday experiment that has kinda stuck. I have toyed with it being a regular offering, but I really don't know. If you want one, just let me know.

It is designed to be more Clove than Peppermint. So, whether pro or con, please let me know what you think.

All of the females I have introduced it to like the scent (15+), of the guys 75% like it (10+).

And whether you like it or not, it will wake you up!

Well John, I just used it last night for the first time. I want a full size one for sure.

I got my sample as well with the stuff the wife ordered me from SE. My wife gave it the thumbs up, although I'm not sure it was the thumbs up for me using it or that she is planning on stealing it for her use (whatever it may be). I need to give it a whirl since this New England winter is beginning to wreak havoc on my face.

I did order a full size too; my wife's reaction was the same as Jared's wife. I never expected to like Cloves on my face but the peppermint combination is a touch of genius. This ASB is an excellent product and it deserves recognition.

My current bath soap is Peppermint & Clove. It smells great, good to know that there is an After Shave with that scent. Must keep in mind for future purchase.

I got the Orange ASBS for a sample and it works great but I tend not to be drawn to the citrusy scents. That being said, clove and peppermint sounds like it would be right up my ally especially for the winter months. Glad to see it has become a regular.

The Clove and Peppermint is good stuff. I think I'm going to have to put some cloves in a bottle of isopropyl for a spring/fall splash.

just got my bottle of the clove and peppermint -- wow! i'm very impressed. this stuff has a bite to it and lasts for a while. great buy.

the only thing i don't care for is the type of cap on the bottle. one of those flip up thingies would work better.

That is my only complaint about the Wesley & Scott balm, it needs to have some type of pump dispenser or "flip-up top w/ a hole."
However, the thread size of their containers must be a pretty standard size because I've been able to take the tops from other products and put them on the W&S bottle.
I've got a pump on my limes right now and it works well.

Just got a sample of the cloves & peppermint yesterday, I'm gonna like this stuff...
