Proraso A/S splash being discontinued

Just learned this today from Lee @ Lee's razors (see this thread). Thought everyone should know so you can get your hands on it while some are still available.

Fortunatly while I agree - it is good, there are quite a few a/s splashes as good, or better (in my opinion) and while I am sad to see ANY quality wetshaving product go - I don't think it is nearly as serious, or as sad as some of the more original products, such as Penhaligons LP#9, the musgo real pre-shave gel, the old style/scents of taylor of old bond street shaving cream, the old style of D.R. Harris a/s milk, etc etc.

Now if they discontinued Musgo Real A/S or l'occitane CADE aftershave splashes, i'd be complaining like a 2 year old

I think he (Timmy) was saying Huh in the sense of it being discontinued... What he (joel) was talking about was that TOBS changed the "forumlations" of their scents. For example, the Avacado you buy today is different then it used to be, scent wise.. The creams themselves don't seem to be changed at all.

Exactly, I thought I was going to go buy all the Taylor's I could get if they were getting rid of all of it.

I was just at a Target on the North side of Indianapolis and they no longer had any Proraso A/S Splash. A couple of weeks ago, they had tons and the spot the aftershave had once occupied was filled with another product. So maybe it really is gone. That sucks.
