    Default 5 minutes

I hate hearing all the news about toddlers and babies being killed. It really hurts my heart. A few minutes ago I saw a pic of the little girl in Florida that is missing and who's remains have been found. The little girl looks so sad in that picture. I don't imagine she ever had a happy day in her short life. Then I think about the 18 month old baby boy in California, that a few months ago his father pulled the truck over on the side of the road, pulled him out and beat him to death in front of passerbys and police. The man stomped the little boys head in and slammed him to the pavement. I'm happy for the police that shot the man but I feel bad for him for having to witness that. Then there was the little girl who's parents starved her then her dad beat her to death because she took a container of yogart from the refigerator.

I am a man of faith. I am also a sinner but I do believe in a Creator. I know I will be judged for my feelings one day but I would like five minutes with one of those people that hurt the little ones. I would make them suffer for 5 minutes before I finished them off. If there are any CPS people on this forum, my heart goes out to you for all the stuff you have to deal with everyday.

It just makes me sad. I have an 18 month little boy and one on the way. I love them more than anything. It is one thing to read in scripture about the "perfect love". Until one becomes a father, they can't understand. I would gladly die for my son and unborn child. In a moment. No hesitation. After Austin was born, I finally understood about God's love.

I am sorry, I am not trying to preach or to convert anyone. It is just inconceivable to me how someone can kill a little one. If this post makes anyone feel bad, I sincerely apologize. i just needed to get that off my chest.

It Christmas time and I am feeling bad for all the unhappy, abused, starving little ones in the world

I pray for a happy Christmas for little ones everywhere.

I pray that you find the spirit to not think about that. It is awful. Look for the good. Its out there.

These things are why I hunt these predators for a living. Your response is normal, for someone who loves kids and feels protective of them. Use your faith to keep your emotions in check. This article starts out humorous, but in the end presents a compelling challenge to those of us who do protect our weakest members.

i dont get people. even the worst criminals 80-85 years ago would NEVER do this sort of thing.

we all sin. we are all judged in some form in the end. we are also all born with one foot in the grave. choose wisely.

For me personally, it's my faith that does get me through knowing of the abuse you described. I know that those children are going to a better place. Thankfully.

May they all rest in peace.

I understand. My father was a field worker and later an executive with the Children's Aid Society of Canada. Some of the things he saw broke his heart, and sometimes - when they were long past - he would speak of them to me. I learned from his example how important it is to acknowledge and govern one's own anger and pain, and that it is not always possible simply to keep them to one's self. Sometimes you just have to speak.

    Have a good Christmas

the moment you forget that humans are animals, like the rest of the setient creatures on the face of this earth, its when things like this occures, we arent chosen or special, in some cases, we are worst then most animals becuase they can tell right from wrong by instinct, remember that right and wrong are conditional to the perspective of the creature in question, for a lion, killing another animal is good because he dosnt go to sleep hungry, the differance is that humans are semi psychotic, they have to be taught right from wrong, or maybe its the other way around, we fail to distingush right from wrong becuase our cultural, moral and religious indoctrination interferes with our natural instinct,

all i know is that it scares the heck out of me that there are so many people out there whos ability to distinguish good from evil depends on fear of retribution from either divine or man law. if the only thing keeping you from stealing, raping or killing is the fear of hell or a jail cell, you should not be part of society,
