I finally got my Merkur 34c and sample pack!

Yay! I finally got my new Merkur 34c and sample packs from west coast shaving in the mailbox today. I open the package and look at the DE razor and said to myself "wow, how small it its" it only 3 inch tall. I haven't tried it yet maybe tonight after taking a shower and tried the Merkur DE. I got 4 sample packs: Personna Platinum Red, Crystal, Derby Extra and Dorco. I don't know which blade to choose first. I may choose either Personna or Crystal.

I'm very excited about it. I'm going to let you know how it goes when I tried the new Merkur 34c DE Razor.

And there it is ,the tiny pitter patter of of excitement running through the brain.This will grow quickly to the thump thump of ....Comb Heads ,Slants ,Ooooooh Vintage Gillettes , Fatboy's ,Supers Speeds !oh and look at thread about Lux razors .....must have one ,maybe get two .

Your life from this moment will be a hasty mish mash, full of milestones of new aquisitions ..................

I started off with one (!) Merkur razor "just to see what the fuzz is about" and now have...6 or so razors, mostly bought at a great price on the bay or here or in Antique shops. But.....i need more.

awesome! I said the same thing about the 34 C when I first opened the box! It is a great razor though, built like a tank!

The 34c was my first DE and those were my first thoughts when I opened the box. Congrats and good luck

I would say start off and move in the following order ...

Dorco
Personna
Derby
Crystal.

For me the Personna and Derby were the stand outs.
