What's the difference between skin & body?

Skin - any no-name neutral scent glycerin soap.
Hair - increasingly not a concern; fresh/neutral scent no-name stuff for normal to oily hair. Walgreens typically has one that works. or Suave.

I've always wondered about the skin/ body thing too.

I'm going to have to disagree with you about Suave. I used the stuff for about 6 months after I moved into my own place to save money. My hair always ended up feeling dry and was more prone to frizziness and breaking. I've since moved to Paul Mitchell and have seen my hair problems disappear. Only problem is those products are a "bit" more expensive.

I have been impressed with much of the Kiss My Face line so far in terms of quality/price ratio. I use mostly Aveda products, which are great, but not necessarily great on the wallet. Just glad I get discounts.

I don't have enough hair that it matters. When I go to the barber, I let him know that if I have to do anything other than towel it off, it's too long.

Yeah, when I had shorter hair it didn't seem to matter what I was using on my hair. Now my hair is growing past my shoulders and I need to make sure the shampoo/conditioner I use is not only cleaning, but also strengthening and hydrating.

    1. Old spice hair and body conditioning keeps you very clean all over and not drying at all, it leaves a great refreshing light sent for a little while.

    2. Queen Helene Oatmeal 'n Honey Natural Facial Scrub.

This stuff is the best combo must haves and the price is great at $4 for the old spice body wash & $4 for the face scrub. Ive left alot of expensive shampoos and face washes soaps you name it all behind for this set up.

Here's somethign easy, inexpensive and remarkably effective.

Yardley's of London bar soap (US version). Circa 1.50 a bar.

Cheap Shampoo or use soap. Cheap conditioner, if you want that.

Moisturel moisturize for the face. 12 bones for 14 ounces. Non-pore-clogging.

QH Cocoa Butter Lotion for the rest fo the body. Sub 2 dollars per 32 oz. bottle at Walmart.

Make your own salt scrub to manually exfoliate, mixing natural sea salt with above cited QH lotion, and using it to exfoliate the body before hoping in the shower and washing off.

Whole foods has their own line of inexpensive shampoo and conditioner called 365. Lately I've been using the fragrance free conditioner, which I like. I'll probably try the shampoo at some point.

For bath soap, I use Mysore Sandal Soap from India, Pears Glycerin Soap, and I also like Kiss My Face Olive Oil and Aloe Soap.

For the face, the Dan Kern products from Acne.org are all I've been using for awhile now.
