Fake/Immitation Gillette Adjustable ???

Dear All

I have the opportunity to have what looks like a Gillette adjustable with a long black handle. However, I am a little confused by the razor. The razor looks and feels like a Gillette Adjustable, but has no writing, not date or patent marking. The only thing it has is on the underside of the head an emblem of what looks like a dear or an antelope.

Has anyone seen of these before? Is it a fake or imitation Gillette?

Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the razor. It looks just like the real thing though to my eyes. If it is a fake the makers are quite talented
