cleaning an Injector

I'vr just got my hands on a lovely Schick Adjustable injector.

Now it is in good condition , but it does need cleaning/sanitising/sterilising..

I've read some threads about DEs Gillettes , but I how should I go for the injector?

I don't wanna end up with a plastic stain on a sauce pan or summin'

I do think that what is needed is mainly polishing, but with what? something to polish silver - will that be OK?

I can't also find a way to dissasemble it, any ideas?

it's just that from what it seems this is the problem , I will try to attach pics shortly..

On the web of the store there are number of polishing products i.e. for copper,brass.silver........

which one should I choose for the injector ( and for my Slim Gillette adjustable as well)

Basically what sort of metal they are made of?


Should I get some silver polish stuff from a superstore or something?
