    Default Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

So my local Walgreens just started to carry Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. I have been wondering about it for some time and had really high hopes.
Unfortunately I really can't stand it. It smells like rotting vegetables to me. I have tried to use it a couple more times and added some orange eo just so I could bare it.
My prior go to was Old Spice Smooth Blast but none of the the stores around here carry it anymore.

Oh well. Lesson learned and dollar wasted.

Smells awful good on the skin if you can pull it off.

It's the only scent I've ever been compelled to pour down the toilet (twice). I bought it, used it, hated it and then flushed it away. A couple of years later I bought it again to see if I had been too brutal in my assesment and it turns out I wasn't...so I flushed it away again
And my wife hated it too...

They had it for a dollar?! I'd be all over that! I have two bottles: one's faded, and one's greener. I'd say they smell different, the green a little more crisp. Both good. Mmmmm.

    Pinaud's marketing concept:

"Let's make lots of good smelling aftershaves and one really vile smelling, horrible stench. We will then only really distribute the most popular one, and this awful stench."

Finally got to smell this stuff at a local drugstore today. The lilac part is ok, but whatever the vegetal part is is not ok.

I agree this stuff smells like crap out of the bottle but rules on the skin after it settles down.

I have received plenty of comments on how it "smells like a man".

    Nasty Stuff.
if you want a good lilac vegetol try the Master Well Comb Version. Some really great after shaves and the prices are good also. Can be found at Atlanta Barber and Appleton Barber Supply to name a few.
And please get rid of that vile stuff

    Just my two cents worth
