Since this thread is still going I'll update my EDC knife. I picked this up recently at a gun store going out of business:

    Benchmade red 960

Price marked was $200.00 but with the 75% "going out of business" discount it was $50.00. How could I resist? I also bought a couple of pink Mini-Griptillians for my two stepdaughters for $24.00 each.

    Nice score!

At only $24 I would carry a pink Mini Grip!

Edit: Forgot the other EDC. Tis a Kershaw Chive in Silver that is on my keychain. Had it for many years, and its still as good as the day I got it, except that the blade lock has broken.

Explorer "Black Claw." 3" closed, 2.5" blade. 440c Japanese steel, wooden handle. Sturdy little sucker. I've used it for so many things in the 15-20 yrs it's been in my pocket. Always sharpens up nice.

It sounds like a toy, which it sort of is, but I keep the big Buck in my car.

    Talking Benchmade 940

I've acquired a Benchmade Osborne Axis. It's in my rotation and from what I can say from fondling it for a short time I like it. The thumb studs have been removed for legality reasons.

Because when this thread was started there were no Great Outdoors, the Nib or the Tobacco sections, so this is where we posted for all our non shaving related collectables and indulgences.

I have my Buck 110 Lock Knife and a smaller Kershaw Coral Creek LK I picked up on sale. The buck was a pressie from the states and came with a leather sheath with a belt loop.

I have something like 40. Spyderco Manix 2 sprint run with CTS-XHP blade steel is the favorite and has been for a while. Just picked up a Zero Tolerance 0561 though, and it's getting a lot of carry since it's the newest!

A Spyderco ladybug. Not the most manly of names, but a fine keychain knife nonetheless.

    Gerber 45898 Ridge knife
Tiny, partially serrated edge, black, w/belt clip

When my son-in-law gave it to me for Christmas several years ago, I asked him if couldn't afford a whole knife. But it's been in my pocket ever since. It's so small you hardly know it's there.

My pocket knife is a Kershaw Grant County. A pocket knife should be small imo.
I keep a vintage Old Timer in my coat pocket.
At work, on my belt I wear a Gerber - I forget the model.
For fishing and outdoors, I also pack a Leatherman Wave.

The Wife & I took the Rotty out in the woods today. I am always packing something sharp. Today it's the Swedish hand axe & American made Benchmade 940. Good stuff!

I have carried a knife since I was seven, my many fond memories are of my Grandpa using his knife as he did his work. I carry a knife every day, mostly case.
