At work: Buck tri-blade pocket (peanut) knife.

Nights and weekends (until a week ago when some Delta baggage punk snagged it out of checked luggage on a flight back from Atlanta): http://sogknives.com/store/FSA-98.html

Newest purchase (still waiting on shipment): http://www.bladehq.com/item--Boker-Kalashnikov-74--103 (Wasn't too happy with the SOG's tendency for the safety latch to slide closed, which is a GOOD safety feature if that's your stance)

    In the boot: http://www.amazon.com/Smith-Wesson-S.../dp/B001606XS6

In one vehicle: http://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=372 (love the action on this one)

In the other: http://www.gerbergear.com/Essentials...knife_22-48443 (steel is junky)

Donation to girlfriend (I miss this one, strong blade, tight lockup): http://www.kabar.com/knives/detail/117

Lately its been a Kershaw Half-Ton, all my others (that are small enough for work) have gone dull. I got a set of Lansky Crock Sticks in the mail along with a Buck Stockman. Now my knifes are sharp again.

So, my first Spyderco arrived, the aptly named 'Bug'
I can't believe how small it is! It's really solidly built and the factory edge is hair popping sharp

Nice looking knife, I've been looking for a decently priced damascus for awhile, how's the blade hold up?

Case Sway Back Jack CV. Sharp, classy, compact, sharp, carbon steel, and sharp. Ok, so maybe I cut myself once or twice. Been a while since I had an EDC.

SpyderCo Police w/ a Combo Edge. Mine looks substantially more beat up than the picture, it's been in my pocket daily for five years.

I love Spyderco knives. I have been carrying those since the nineties. I had the Police one for a several years, but found it a little heavy for daily use, so I got one with a resin handle.

My daily carry is a simple Buck pocketknife. It's nothing super fancy, but it's also something I consider a tool, so fancy is not on the list of functions I require. I honed the edge when I got it three years ago, and haven't had to do more than touch up the edge since, so for $20 (canadian even) on sale I call it a winner.

Both my vehicle's roadside emergency kit, and my absolutely-always-in-my-pack survival kit, have a Leatherman Wingman ($25 on sale at home depot) in em.

Any and every time I go anywhere 'off-road' I carry a hand-me down from my dad. Don't know much about it's history (blade is stamped Lamplough Cutlery Solingen near the hilt), but I know my dad's had it at least as long as the early 70's. It's a 5" blade camping/hunting knife, and between the two of us we've always kept it in very good shape. It holds an edge better than anything else I've ever seen.. I still have clear memories of abusing the hell out of it 20 years ago when I was a kid, throwing it at trees and the like. Even after some unfortunate bounces off rocks, there was never any damage to the edge that a quick hone couldn't fix. I anticipate this knife being passed down to my own kid (when I get around to having one) decades from now, and it still having not reached the middle of its life.

A tiny Buck jack knife from the late 60's. It was my grandfather's whittling knife, so I do a bit of the same with it. For something more serious, I have an 8 inch custom damascus blade in a fighting knife style, secured in a buffalo horn handle. Overkill? Well, maybe, but I worked in Israel for 3 years and I have seen some UGLY spiders there.. just gotta be ready!

Opinel 9 in carbon. The Opinel is listed by the Victoria and Albert Museum as one of the 100 most beautiful objects in the world. Add to that the Australian Alvey C-45 sidecast reel in bakelite and nickel plated brass and that comes to 101. Add a Simpson Milk Churn, make it 102.
