Rooney 1/1 or Shavemac 177 to supplement BBE?

Well, I can't wait to get a brush anymore. I'm going to pick either one of these to supplement the B&B Essentials when it comes out. Which one?

The 177 will be very similar in size to the BBE. Do you want something more compact/firm (Rooney) or something that will be a bit larger on the face (Shavemac)?

The Shavemac 177 can be ordered with knot sizes from 18 mm to 30 mm. I have a one in 26 mm, it's large but is the only brush I use when at home - that's how pleased I am with it. I don't own a roony so I can't comment about its quality.

As long as you get a knot size thats similar to the BBE. I feel that it will be much closer than the Rooney. I have the 1/1 and it is a totally different brush from the other two. Its small. Super firm. And devours soaps. While I like it quite well, I dont feel that it is a replacement for a BBE.
