Why not? After all, what this site is all about, more than anything else, is not shaving.

I've been wearing my winter beard since 1996! But I do love a good daily shave of my neck.

I used to grow a winter beard every year. I always made sure to keep my neck clean, though. Nowadays, the only facial hair I have is the moustache and goatee and slightly longer than average sideburns. The girlfriend doesn't like the full beard and as such, it had not existed the past few winters.

If you still want to grow a winter beard, I'm there with you in spirit.

I usually grow a beard of some type in the winter, this may be the week to start. Going on 1 day's growth, If I can keep from shaving the next couple days and see if it takes.

already have mine in...took a couple days longer than usual, since this summer has been the first time in 7 years that I actually used a razor to shave the non-goatee area...normally I'd just use the beard trimmer to keep it really short, but now that shaving it enjoyable, I couldn't resist
I was the first time my kids had seen me without a full beard...you can forget about the mustache & goatee, besides pictures, my wife's never seen me without it...sorry, some of us just look better with parts of our face hidden
After Monday and Tuesday, even the rest of the week goes W T F

Not a full beard but I have been known to grow friendly mutton-chops which look outrageous with a bald head.

Agreed. The moustache and goatee have not come off my face in years.

I'd love to grow a beard someday, just to see how it looks on me.....and then shave it off after a couple of weeks

However, my current employer would not appreciate a bearded employee to visit our clients so that is what is keeping me from growing one.

I've had my beard since my second or third Sophomore year of college, so about 8 years or so. Don't think it's coming off anytime soon.

I used to have a full beard, then goatee, then I'd grow a winter beard but the itching drives me crazy when it's growing. I always feel cleaner without it.

I usually keep a stubble beard during the winter. I'm curious to see if shaving with a de makes any difference in my beard.

Most or all here would agree that the initial stubble does feel quite different using a DE...IMO..and I'm guessing...that once it grows out a bit it will feel preety much the same.

    Regards,
