    Default Parker 71r/89r/91r Razor Question

Does anyone know if these razors all use the same head and different handles or does the "aggression" vary with the different models??

    TIA and enjoy your shave

From what I read the aggression varies with the example, never mind the model... if you take 2 91Rs side-by-side they're empirically unlikely to give the same shave (I've done this with mine and my friends).

Oh my. If that is so, then it's going to be difficult to decide which way to go. Thanks for the input

Most people think the 91r is ok (Check reviews)

realistically you can gert a merkur for a few bucks more.

I think I still have a parker 91 gunmetal. That was my first DE.
I thought it was great and loved it until someone got me a 38c as a present.

the diff was night and day

I've only got a handful of razors, none of them Merkur, but I do quite enjoy my Parker 89r. Nice weight on the handle, looks good, consistent blade gap all the way around. No complaints at all.

I just got a 91R and noticed that the safety bar seems warped on one side - there's a curve in it, making the gap uneven. Oh, and the gap seems very wide. I'm not sure if I'll be using it.
