Tried something new tonight.... Bronner's Pepppermint

I really didnt need to shave tonight, but I was cleaning my shaving brush and refilling a my Dr. Bronner's Peppermint liquid bath soap when, decided to try whipping it into a lather. It didn't lather up well, but it was really slick and the blade just glided along my face. My G*d the peppermint feels great after the shave.

My suggestion is buy a small 4oz peppermint bottle for use in the shower and try some in the shave mug. See what you think.

Hmmm...
This makes me want to try Dr.Bronners using the Palmolive instructions:
Wash your face (with Dr.Bs)
Rinse
Wash it again leaving the soap on
Then lather up as you normally would.

If the Bronners is as slick as you say it is then washing with it may add slickness to my shave. I really enjoy my tub of C&E Sandalwood, but it's not as slick as other products I use.

I won't be able to try it until I get home in a week, but I'll let you know how it goes.

i've used the dr. bronners as a "shave cream" on my head for years - it never occured to me to use it on my face. hmmmm........
