Default Feathers Love Trumper's Coconut Oil Cream

Feather blades have never really worked for me. And I have always preferred soap to cream. But recently I decided to try Feather blades again. But this time with cream instead of soap. From my repertoire I chose Trumper's Coconut Cream, which is one of my favorites as far as cream is concerned. This combination has been pure magic. This cream gives just the right amount of cushioning protection with just enough slickness. The usual nicks and irritation were all but gone, and BBS just about became a reality for the first time. My razor was and HD barber Pole long handle. Has anyone else enjoyed this combination?

I just recently bought a tub of Trumper's Coconut but have yet to use it with a Feather. (I have used it with Derbys and Treet Plats to great success.) Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give it a try.

I can say the same is true for the Trumpers Coconut soap too. I had one of my best shaves the other day with the Trumpers and a Feather blade in my Merkur HD. Needless to say, much faceturbating took place, accompanied by strange looks from my wife.

+1, but I've never tried the cream.

    HD/Feather + Trumper's Coconut = irritation-free BBS every time.

If you haven't tried the HD/Feather combo with Trumper's Almond yet, I think it's even better. Amazing scent, too.

I was tossing up between the coconut and the almond when I bought it the other day. Guess I'll have to head to the chemist tomorrow for a browse
