Looking to purchase a webcam.

My mother lives across the country and we don't get to visit each other often. My daughter is 9 months old now and she has only seen her once. :(
A friend suggested getting a webcam for myself and my mother. Anyone have suggestions on the best webcams out there. I'm just looking for best picture quailty for the money. I don't need head tracking, recording and things like that.

i have a microsoft VX6000, its a bit expencive, but the image quality is quite good,

just remember to toss it out when she turns 15...

After researching most of the night I purchased 2 Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000. It will be a gift for my mom at Christmas which I'm sure she will love.
