    Cool

I voted Provence Sante, but I like Pre de Provence just as well. And I would love to try Institut Karite.

Where's Lothantique père et fils? It is an über-soap IMO.

I like my L'Occitane, but as it's the only one I tried I can't really say it's my favorite. So I didn't vote, but am interested to see which one wins.

I have Roger & Gallet L'homme and Provence Sante. Of the two, I use R&G much more often.

I own IK, Pre de Provence and Provence Sante. The IK is probably a notch better than the other two. The PdP and PS work pretty equivalent for me. I like the tin the PdP comes in too.

+1. Lothantique makes fantastic products. I have their ginger bath soap and bath salts. The quality and the scent are divine. Never smelt anything like it before.

Loccitane is probably the most readily available and that is why it is getting so many votes. I would imagine there are very few who have actually tried them all. I can't use Loccitane and am looking forward to trying my first Pre De Provence very soon, so I did not vote.

I didn't vote either because Loccitane is the only one I've tried. It's good stuff but I don't know if I would like any of the others better.

    Yes, obviously.

I can only compare it to l'Occitane, I'm afraid. I'd say Lothantique is in the A+ Tabac/MWF/Trumper/Harris league for me, while l'Occitane, while very nice in it's own right is more of a 'cat. B' soap in my book.

It's a personal thing of course, so Y**V

I have tried the following and would rate them (the first being the best):

    Provence Sante
    Pre de Provence
    L'Occintane Cade
    Institute Karite
    Monsavon

I used to think PdP and the L'Occitane were close, but I've re-evaluated them and came to the conclusion that the PdP is the standout. All of the above mentioned soaps are very good to excellent. I never understood the hubbub about IK. Perhaps I'll appreciate it more in the coming dry, winter months.
