    Default C&E Sienna Soap

I just used Crabtree and Evelyn's sienna scented soap and I felt that I just had to write a post that heaped glory on this awesome performing and smelling soap. So thats it. It lathers up with loads of creamy moist lather and smells so good you wish you could eat it. Can I get an amen?

    Amen!

Did a Sienna superlather this morning. Sienna was my first soap. Came for the scent, stayed for the shave!

I was seriously distressed when I found out C&E was discontinuing the soap. Of course I bought so many refills at $3 each that I'll never be without!

brothers (and sisters) i stand here to testify to the power of the sienna. the shave god(s) entrusted me with the power of the sienna shave soap. and they did thus slayeth mine facial hair!

it is kind of a shave they stopped making the soap. i've used up all my sienna (but i still have some of the cream in a tube and the glass jar).

I've got the sandalwood (picked it up in the bowl for $13 on clearance) and really like the scent.

It makes great lather, but it isn't as slick as what I consider the "top shelf" soaps (Harris, Trumper, T&H, Tabac).

Overall, the C&E soaps are generally regarded as average at best and I don't think its worth shedding a lot of tears over their demise.

If you really like one of the C&E scents, then get their very good (and heavily-scented) balms - they're quite good and the scents are very long-lasting for a balm.

Sienna is my favorite of the C&E scents, and was the very first shave soap I purchased. It's still a favorite.

I love all 4 sents in the C&E shave soap library. But Sienna and Nomad are my tops!
