Strange Events

My barber told me a story about something that happened at the barbershop a couple of years before I started going there. One day it was busy, and even with 10 chairs (NYC barbershop) all the barbers were busy so a long time customer sat in an open barber chair, and took a little snooze. When it came his turn, they tried to wake him, but he had died in the chair, for all the world as if he were asleep. No violent movement or anything, my guy said it was very strange. Too bad the customer in question wasn't a barber himself, then they could have said he died "in the chair".

As a great admirer of the work of Arthur Conan Doyle, I can easily imagine an excellent Sherlock Holmes story being worked around that one!
