  1. Default Proraso pre/post vs. just pre

I've seen the pre/post mentioned on here and sold on various internet sites, so I went down to Target to get some. When I got home, I read the label and it just says "Pre Shaving Cream". Is this the same as the pre/post? Did they change the product? Or is this something different? Doesn't really matter to me since I only intend to use it as a pre shave, but I am curious.

Yep, its the same thing. There are some other languages on the target jar which mention its use as a post.

As far as I could tell, all the ingredients are the same, with the exception of the target-sold jar has "coumarin" in it.

Awesome. Not only does it have lye in it, it also has rat poison.

Well, I used some of this stuff in the shower this morning like others have suggested. I'm not sure if it softened my beard at all, but it definitely softened up some 30 year old phlegm I had in one of my lungs. Holy christ that stuff is strong smelling, almost identical to Vick's Vapor Rub. I love the Proraso Shaving Cream and the Liquid Cream aftershave, but I don't see this pre/post stuff becoming a part of my regular routine.

What ever you do don't cut yourself while using this stuff! It has Coumarin; which means you will bleed to death!

I've been using it in the shower a few times a week, not necessarily before shaving, just prior to washing conditioner out of my hair. I'll leave it on just enough for it to start tingling then wash it off.

I think it tends to wake me up, and I'll have to wait till it starts getting colder to see how tolerable it is.

With the amount of camphor and menthol that they obviously put in this product, I bet it would make a good sore muscle rub too.
