Software: Dave's Mystic Spearmint Glycerin Preshave, Proraso Green, witch hazel, Proraso ASB, Mennan Skin Bracer, SCS Arrimarse EDT

Procedure: Soften stubble with preshave, three passes + blade buffing, rinse and tone, apply good smelling stuff that makes me enthusiastic about the work week. Really.

I'm glad to see that others use Prep. I've only had mine a short time, and I use it post-shower but pre-shave, and I don't use it after the shave. I think I really like it so far.

Monday: musgo real lime preshave soap / vdh boar brush / col conk almond soap / parker 89r razor / derby extra blade d1 / twh / clubman pinaud a/s

haven't used a derby blade in quite awhile. just as i remembered, smooth and comfortable

Two-pass BBS shave with no touch up.

The 1917 is aggressive. A good cream and a respectful approach seems to tame the beast, though. It's a beautiful razor and one that I really like, but it's probably too aggressive for the regular rotation.
