...and the Alt-Innsbruck paired surprisingly well with the English Fern EdT.

Prep with with hot towel and lather x2.

Very good one-pass shave. The 1917 will be retired after today (at least for a while). A beautiful razor that does a beautiful job, but just too aggressive for my skin.
