Default Who wants to do the math?

At the rate Mason is posting, how long before he overtakes Ron as the top poster?

Great posts BTW, Mason! And you are always a gentleman, too.

If anyone does it, my money is on Mason.

If both maintain their current pace then I guestimate Mason overtaking Ron in a little more than 300 days... and yes, guestimate is a word.

    Absolutely NOT! Keep it up.

I did not mean to sound like I was making fun. I really want to know how long it would take. I'm just too tired to do the math myself.

    Sorry if I offended.

    Mason:
Always great to see a post from you, man. You ask questions I don't think about, but then say to myself, "great question...I should have thought of that!"

    JoAnna,

Assuming that Ron starts with 3239 posts and contiinues to post at a rate of 7.99 ppd (posts per day) and that Mason starts with 282 posts and continues at 18.45 posts per day [note: these were the numbers when I looked it up a few mins ago] then it should be that Mason overtakes Ron in about 282.70 days. That is, if I am able to do math this close to 1am.

    But Ron is special!!!!

If two 18 wheelers with 45 foot trailers are traveling at respectively 67 and 89 mph from Texas to the truck stop........

    Things are looking good..

Hello Mason, if I never welcomed you!

From me? A PhD student and nerd who is online late at night rather than sleeping... now, I just have to hope that I'm right... and if not, well, I'm a theoretical economist who works better during the day and with much caffeine in my bloodstream! (That’s as good of an excuse as any, isn't it?)

    I hope you aren't sleep-posting, Sue!

That should be Michael's custom title. "Recently married-techno geek-handsome man, from up north"

You two be careful of what you say - you never know (and more importantly - I never know) what my title may be changed to if you keep talking like that...

I would love to see what the mods come up with for you, if we keep talking like this! I'm positive it would be hilarious!
