Good idea?

Hey guys,
So I just went to Target and got myself some Proraso products after reading so many accolades Proraso receives from you guys. I love the cooling sensation from the preshave's menthol. Since the preshave supposedly open up your pores and soften up your skin, I was thinking of spreading that stuff all over my face and leave it on for one minute then wash it off before using my facial wash. That way my pores are really open for the facial wash. What do you guys think?

I don't know if it is necessary (or advisable) to use the Proraso Pre/Post prior to washing your face - but if you really dig that Proraso tingle, hey, go for it...

I apply it after showering (where I wash my face) before making lather. It probably has 2 or 3 minutes to soak in the beard. (i don't use this every day, btw...once in a while).

Also, some gents apply this in the shower, while washing other areas, and let it soak the beard even longer.

I did and it felt cool and refreshing. I don't know if my pores got a throughout wash, however.

I like the tingle on the beard area, but I think it would be a little overwhelming on my whole face.
