Hi all
I bought some used Gillettes at a flea Market and I'm loving it. It's been five times now and I think I "get it". I would just like to thank everybody for the advice. I would have never known how to lather without this board. I'd like to go to the barber's more often for a straight razor shave but somehow I'm scared of the straight razor

I love shaving with a DE razor. It's a challenge. Ít's relaxing. It's theraputic. And when I can find my rhythm with regularity, it will be Nirvana.

Great pic. Those tableau type shots have always played well, include shaving in the mix, even more interesting.

I don't think you really need to fear a straight razor shave. But I wouldn't get one at a barbershop with any windows.
