    Default After Action Report

I just finished my first DE shave. I used my HD, a derby blade, and about 4 gallons(post lather volume) of KMF Mint.
My face went so much better than it ever has before. I took 2 WTG passes and 1 ATG pass with zero incident. my face has never felt so smooth. I figure I will have little need to shave for several days. Terrible really when you think about it, a shave so good and enjoyable one can only have ever few days.
My neck, however, was something of a different story. First WTG went well enough. Round two was nice, but still left something behind. I figured, after doing ATG on my face, why not my neck? The answer: because your neck is what keeps your head on. Do not cut it off. That said, it is no worse than the terror that was cartridge shaving.

Aside from my neck, which was my fault, not that of equipment or method, all went surprisingly well. To all those who are lurking, wondering if they should give it a go, the answer is yes. The B/S/T has some awesome starter kits at last glance. Keep looking, and you will get a hell of a kit. For the impatient, west coast shaving is cheap and quick on shipping. Get an HD, some blades of the web and a cheap brush and some cream/soap from the local drug store and get going.

Bdub - Nice...well done and keep it going. Maybe you should just do one WTG pass and then you could shave everyday!
