Thumbs up on the go gel

last month i picked up some shaving gel at the local dollar tree.it is a product named" on the go".it is made in china as is a large part of that chains stock.it has a mild "marine scent".it is not quite a gel, more like a thick shampoo.
    ingredients-water,cetyl alchohol,steartrimonium chloride,aloe,dmdm hydantoin,fragrance,vitamin e.
i used hand lathering/rub.a small bit about nickel size will furnish a faceful of thin lather that is very slick in the hand.enough for 3 passes.just add a bit of water to your palm and massage onto the face after each pass.
my face was smooth and fairly free from irritation, which was a bit surprising as i had quite a few days growth.
i have also used this stuff in the shower but it seems better as a sink item.i'll have to revisit this.
this is a 1$ item that is worth a bit more,it is certainly better than the last shave gel/cream that i bought at a dollar store.

I've seen this at a dollar store in my area. Even though the cost is ridiculously cheap, China's sketchy reputation for product integrity has kept me from trying it.

    Your melamine may vary.

Default It's like Owl snot on a door knob.

I love this stuff! I've been using it for some time now for shaving my head. It's awesome for that. It's also good to get a tube for your "travelling light" kit. I find that it smells strongly of aloe. One thing to note though. There are two different versions of this stuff. There's the big blue tube of it, and then there's a little box set with a small tube of gel and a small tube of after shave balm. The gel in the small tube is definitely not the same stuff! It doesn't perform even half as well as the stuff in the big bottle. I wouldn't use this stuff with a brush either, it wants to be smeared on with your hands. A silver dollar sized dollop should do.
